Ambassador Jovanović met with directors of veterinary specialist institutes from Serbia

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of North Macedonia Nevena Jovanović met with directors of veterinary specialist institutes from Serbia, who were visiting Skopje on the occasion of marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in that city.

In a conversation with Director of the Scientific Veterinary Institute of Serbia Dobrila Jakić-Dimić PhD, directors of the veterinary specialist institutes from Niš Miloš Petrović PhD, Nikola Milutinović PhD from Šabac, Sava Lazić PhD from Novi Sad and Miša Kolarević PhD from Kraljevo, and with Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Belgrade prof. Milorad Mirilović PhD, Ambassador Jovanović highlighted the good bilateral cooperation between Serbia and North Macedonia and discussed with the interlocutors the possibilities offered by the Open Balkan initiative.

At the Ceremonial Academy on the occasion of marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, the hosts emphasised the long-standing successful cooperation between the two faculties and related institutions in the field of education, science and animal health care.

Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje Lazo Pendovski PhD presented long-term collaborators from Serbia with plaques for their contribution to the development of this institution.
